So I've heard about an affordable 'El Nido-ish' haven near Cebu! Hmmn. Okay, I was curious and didn't have any plans for the weekend so we decided to go there for a visit.

How to go to Bojo River from Cebu:

It's best to go to South Bus terminal at 5AM for the earliest trip. After 7AM, there might be no bus going directly to Aloguinsan anymore so you may need to take another route and take a bus going to Toledo or Pinamungahan instead.

One of the main tourist destinations in the Philippines is Bohol. If you're from Cebu, it's so easy to go there. You just need to ride a fast craft boat from Cebu (Pier Uno) to Tagbilaran via Oceanjet. You can buy a ticket at the same Pier. Their earliest trip is at 6AM and the last trip is at 6:30PM. It's summer again and I feel like going to the beach! It was a Saturday and a holiday when me and a crazy friend of mine planned for a trip to Oslob for just a day trip. It was a bit crowded at South Bus Terminal so we decided to change our destination and immediately rode a taxi to North Bus terminal, without even finalizing to what specific beach are we headed for.  After a few minutes of brainstorming and a little bit of research, we finally decided to go to Malapascua. We just checked online for more info on how to get there and for hotel accommodations. We got a long list of resort contact numbers but because it was a Saturday plus a holiday,  almost all that we contacted were fully booked and some available rooms were beyond our budget.

I've spent 4 years now living in Cebu but never had a chance to go to this place - until today (whew finally).  I've been to Mountain View before but Tops captured my heart  because of the perfect view and you can see the entire Cebu City and even Mactan.
