I'm not really a fan of cold springs due to cold intolerance but yesterday, my friend invited me to go to Pines Farm Resort in Burauen Leyte. I was just looking forward to filling my stomach with food and getting some fresh air but surprisingly, I enjoyed it more than expected. The cold spring water, the fresh air and the scenery - this is what weekends should be all about right? These pictures below would probably encourage you to go there asap!
HOW TO GET THERE
Take your car or rent a private vehicle, check google map and drive away! If you want to go there on commute, I guess you can ride a van going to Burauen and from the town proper, hire a tricycle driver to take you there. If the driver has no idea about the location, let them know it is near Abuyogon Elementary school. It should just take about 10 minutes travel time from the town proper.
FEES
Entrace fee - Php20 for adults and Php10 for children
Cottage - Php500 (they also have the table only for 200 pesos)

WHAT TO BRING
1. Food and drinks. They don't sell anything there so make sure to bring these. No corkage fee.
2. Clothes, slippers, towel etc. Forget about wearing shoes because your feet will still have to be immersed in water to go to your designated cottage.
3. Waterproof camera - because it's fun to take photos with the mini waterfalls, yay!
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: No mobile signal anywhere in the area. I repeat, there's no mobile signal. Make sure to let your partner know to avoid any conflict. 😉
If you're planning to go there on a weekend, just expect that it would be a bit crowded. I suggest you go there on a weekday to experience a beautiful, serene encounter with nature. 😊
Thanks for sharing.
