Where to leave your bags when in Cebu (for travelers) FREE
If you're staying in Cebu for just a day and you want to be free from the burden of carrying your heavy bags, it's best that you take advantage of the services offered by the Traveller's Lounge in Robinsons Galleria Cebu. This is near Roble main office in Pier 4.
The facility is open everyday from 8AM to 9PM. You can take a shower, use the comfort room, deposit your bags, access wifi and charge your gadgets. Everything for FREEEEE - as long as you have your boat or plane ticket for that same day. If you don't have one yet, you can buy it there as well. A free bus shuttle ride going to the pier is also available until 4PM. If you need to use the shower, you may need to have your own toiletries and towel. They don't have an overnight deposit for bags though, so you may need to claim it before 9PM.
There's also a Traveller's Lounge in SM City Cebu which is open from 6AM to 9PM but you will have to pay Php50 for shower use (excluding toiletries and towel ) and minimum Php30 for bag or luggage deposit (price may change depending on the size and quantity). I usually use the services there when I'm in Cebu but now that I discovered this little paradise in Robinsons Galleria, I'd definitely come here straight away next time!
Hope this helps!

It's a legit "comfort" room - clean and spacious! |

Biri Island Travel Guide 2016
If I will have to stay in one place without
doing anything – like literally just
sitting and breathing, no internet and no gadgets, then it would be in the
Island of Biri. The placid atmosphere, the strong waves of the Pacific and the
scenic massive rock formations – it left
me damn speechless. Oh wait, actually no,
I remember saying “wooowww”, like
every 10 minutes! It’s one of the many places here in the Philippines where
you’ll witness how nature works in mysterious, beautiful ways - just like love. 😀
For the budget wanderlusters who are dying to go there, you have to read this blog
seriously and if you don’t want to be absent or late for work the following day,
try to absorb every word that I say here. My friend missed a day at work
because we didn’t expect so much waiting in vain during the trip. She’s based
in Cebu and I’m from Tacloban. Anyway, here’s a detailed sample itinerary
below. This is a better itinerary that what really happened to us there in
terms of transportation. I’m including an easy route for those coming from Cebu
as well.

Sohoton Cave and Natural Bridge Tour, Basey Samar

SOHOTON CAVE - a lot would confuse this with Sohoton Cove in Surigao. We'll get there someday but for now, I'll be talking about the Sohoton Cave in Basey, Samar which is just a few KMs away from my place (Tacloban City). During my college days, it was very popular in our town but I wasn't able to go there until now. Whew, finally after so many years.

Complete Sagada Experience on a Budget - for a "Solo" Traveler
My Delightful Sagada Adventure 2016
SAGADA - the place
where broken hearts go - is by far, the most memorable trip I had to date. Not
only did I meet new friends but also
experienced interesting activities such as spelunking, top loading on a jeepney and oh, my longest
physically-draining-but-empowering trek ever. Hmn, it's rather a place
for adventurous people than for broken hearts! Now I'm proud to say "I
survived the adventures of Sagada!".

Where to leave your bags (for the day) in Manila
Where to leave your bags (for a day) in Manila
Since I had to wait
for like 9 hours before I start to head for Sagada, I had to kill some time and
since my bag was killing my back, I had to leave it somewhere. I was looking
for something like a 'Traveler's Lounge' just like in SM City Cebu where you can
leave your bags for a minimum fee of 30 pesos, but I couldn't find anything
online.
Easy commute to and from NAIA Terminal 3 in Manila
Commuting in Manila
I just want to share
this because I'm proud to say - I didn't take a cab while I was in Manila! It's
an 'hallelujah' feeling when you're a budget traveler like me. Being alone
there and the crazy heavy traffic would
mean a higher taxi fare and that's really a pain in the butt (of my pocket).
